Lecce hosts Hellas Verona, looking for first points since the beginning of the campaign

Two newcomers in the Serie A are facing each other at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare on Sunday. Lecce hosts Hellas Verona, looking for first points since the beginning of the campaign. We are going to preview this match in our soccer matches today. Let’s go.

Lecce had the difficult task to visit Inter Milan at the San Siro in the first round of the league. The game didn’t end very well for the Giallorossi, because Inter scored four goals in Gabriel’s net. Fabio Liverani’s team was outperformed in every aspect of the game, but of course – this was not really that surprising. It’s Inter Milan after all.

Lecce finished the game at San Siro with 10 men on the pitch, because the Brazilian striker Diego Farias was sent off with a direct red card fiftheen minutes before the end. Because of this, Farias won’t be avaliable for selection against Hellas Verona.

Hellas Verona on the other hand won a point in their first game since the promotion from the Serie B. The Gialloblu hosted Bologna at home and managed to win a point after a 1-1 draw. Nicola Sansone opened the score for the visitors from a penalty kick, but one of Hellas Verona’s summer signings Miguel Veloso equalised.

We can say that Hellas Verona must be really satisfied with this point because after just 13 minutes they remained with 10 players on the pitch. The Polish defender Pawel Dawidowicz recieved an early red card. Despite of this, the Gialloblu managed to avoid losing the game.

In our soccer matches today prediction we think that this game between Lecce and Hellas Verona is pretty interesting, because we still don’t know very much about these two teams. They just got promoted to the Serie A, so we shall wait to see more from them.
