Galatasaray – Kasimpasa

Return to the top of the league and win it. This is the main goal in front of Galatasaray this season. And we doubt that it’s surprising anyone. After being unable to catch up Besiktas in the last two season, now Galatasaray will give their all to win the title once again.

So far they are doing great, being on the top after the first four rounds. Galatasaray won three of their matches so far and lost points only during the 1-1 draw with Antalyaspor in the last round. They have the same amount of points as the leader Besiktas, but a better goal difference.

Before the draw with Antalyaspor, the giant from Istanbul achieved three consecutive wins against Kayserispor, Osmanlispor and Sivasspor.

For Galatasaray it’s good that this season they are not participating anymore in the European competitions, so they could concentrate entirely on what’s happening in the Super Lig.

As for Kasimpasa, they also started the new campaign in a positive way. Kasimpasa are currently 4th in the league standings with 7 points won so far. In their last match Kasimpasa beat Yeni Malatyaspor at home.

Of course that Galatasaray are the favourites here, although Kasimpasa are not a bad team or one to be underrestimated. But despite of this, we believe that the Istanbul giants will take what they want from this match, especially on home ground. They were kicked out from Europa League during the play-offs, so now they can concentrate entirely on the Super Lig. This could be an important factor for them.
