La Liga predictions for Real M – Granada
Real Madrid might be struggling in the Champions League, but they are leading the standings in the Spanish league. On Saturday Los Blancos host Granada at the Santiago Bernabeu, so here are our La Liga predictions for this fixture in the capital.
Real Madrid are entering this fixture after another difficult night in the Champions League. Zinedine Zidane won this competition three times as a manager, but right now his team is struggling in Europe’s top competition. During the week Los Blancos met Club Brugge at the Bernabeu, but once again didn’t win and won only a point after a 2-2 draw.
The Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is the most discussed player in Real Madrid’s squad right now. The former Atletico Madrid and Chelsea player was substituted at halftime against Club Brugge, when Zidane put Alphonse Areola on the pitch. Some journalists think that Areola could start against Granada on Saturday, while Courtois will sit on the bench.
Eden Hazard is also being discussed a lot lately. He was the big star who Real Madrid signed in the summer, but so far the Belgian winger is not really that impressive with the white shirt. Maybe Zidane would try to change his position on the pitch and try new things with him. We shall wait and see.
Meanwhile Granada are doing better than you’d expect of them. Right now they are second in the league with just one point behind the leader Real Madrid. So far Granada have lost only one game. Their performance so far is giving them hope that they won’t have any problems regarding survival. But now the big question is – can they trouble Real Madrid at the Bernabeu?
These are our La Liga predictions for the game between Real Madrid and Granada in the capital. Real Madrid look hurt right now, but they are leading the standings, so don’t write them off.
