La Liga soccer predictions for Leganes – Valladolid

We are turning our attention to the Spanish La Liga because on Saturday Leganes will host Real Valladolid in a fixture from the 28th round of the league. For both teams this is a first game after the three months COVID-19 quarantine break. Let’s take a look in our soccer predictions for this week.

Leganes are desperate for points here. The club is 19th in the league with 23 points and a record of 5 wins, 8 draws and 14 losses. They are in the relegation zone and currently three points behind the 17th Celta and the safe zone. This means that they still have chances to survive, of course. We can’t completely write them off just yet.

Leganes has just one injured player before this next game. This is the Argentine midfielder Alexander Szymanowski, who has not played a single minute for the club this season. Except him, everyone else is ready to play. It depends on the manager Javier Aguirre who he’s going to pick.

Aguirre is one of the most experienced managers in La Liga so all of Leganes’ fans are hoping to see him doing some magic.

Real Valladolid are in a little bit better position at the moment, but not safe at all. Right now Valladolid are 15th in the league with 29 points, just three points ahead of the 18th Mallorca and the relegation zone. That’s why for them the season is entering in a decisive phase, too. Before the break Valladolid have won just one of their last five games.

Real Valladolid’s manager Sergio is having a healthy squad, too. But of course it’s not clear what’s the real fitness of his players after three months without any games.

That’s our soccer predictions for this week for the La Liga clash between Leganes and Real Valladolid on Saturday. We wish you good luck and be careful!
